The two back to back "Boeing 737 max" flight accidents at Indonesia on 2018 oct & Ethiopia on 2019 Mar , which created a storm in the aviation industries…
* The flight manufacturing management arugmented that the accident was a pilot mistake, there is nothing wrong in flights design and manufacturing, it put a statement in a press meet that we got certificates from the powerful FAA (US Federation Aviation Administration) and EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency).
* Regulation control defends themselves that saying "we followed the Law", it argued that The flight company having responsibility to make sure everything for people safety rather than simply follows SOP's and LAW.
* The politician said that this is a conspiracy to take jobs and business from our soil.
Then who is responsible for the 300+ innocent people who lost their lives...???
After a series of attempts from multiple directions of civil society including an ex Boeing worker, press people and lawyers, Finally the powerful and politically backed “ 737 Max” landed on ground.
The war in share market / business with Airbus neo model pressured Boeing management to come up with a new model, The management didn't have enough time to create a new model and so they took shortcuts from beginning.
The new model flight was launched on 2017...
Let see What happened technically:
Both accidents happened during the short span of take-off 🛫, a crucial timing during the Air journey…
Boeing 737 max model having single angle sensor in front to detect the projection angle during fly, during take-off the single angle 📐 sensor detects it’s angle movement, here the suspected flaw in sensor production, detects the movement vertically rather than projected angle and feedback to software called MCAS( “manoeuvre control augment system”), then this software control the flight ✈️ to downwards, it should not be the case…
It makes pilot confused and he do opposite to software.. and sensor detect same vertical angle again and gives same feedback to MCAS … the tragic starts ☹️
When management started marketing for this model launch, there was no need for simulation training for pilots and pilots can practise everything on their own ipads :( this is another tragedy...
Why did I take this matter today?
Technology should be handled wisely and for people's welfare, otherwise it will create chaos in future generations.
So do we need to stop technological forwardness?
No! we have to move continuously from the past lesson learned.
